In the movie "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" (1988 - Michael Caine - Steve Martin) we get to see some of the most spectacular views over the sea. Most of the filming was done in France in Nice, Cannes (on the French Riviera, is famed for its international film festival) , Beaulieu-sur-Mer (renamed in the movie as "Beaumont-sur-Mer"), Antibes, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, and Villefranche-sur-Mer.
At the end of the movie, the two con-men realise that their mark, Janet Colgate has been conning them all along, and they just sit and admire the elevated views over the sea. The movie has another fabulous twist right at the end.
